LUTON TOWN FC

In partnership with St Martins FC
Bedfordshire’s latest Community Chartered Standard Club

St Martins FC is proud to officially announce having entered into a Club Partnership Agreement with Luton Town F.C. The past few months have seen St Martins FC make great strides in terms of the clubs development off the field of play (football pitch to you and I) and this latest development is another step in the right direction in terms of our development process.

What does this mean actually mean i.e., how will it effect us as a club and what are the benefits to both Luton Town FC & St Martins FC. Over the past 13 years the Saints have been unofficially supporting Luton Town FC in the development of their boys youth section (see left / home page for a prime example) This new agreement simply make things official. St Martins FC will benefit from this exciting new scheme in the following ways:

  • Coaching Expertise with ‘UEFA A’ Licensed Luton Town Coaches delivering demonstration sessions to Players & Coaches
  • Improved communication between the clubs with both clubs agreeing that no player/s will be signed during the months of Sept to April, unless both parties are in full agreement.
  • Offer St Martins FC free publicity through Luton Town Football Club’s media resources i.e’ Match Day Programme and Club Web Site.
  • Tickets and Photo Opportunities will be offered as part of the deal with free tickets to first team matches and the opportunity to have a team/club photograph on the hallowed turf of Kenilworth Rd.
  • Earn possible income for the club, by recommending players to Luton Towns Boys youth section.
  • Luton Town Player appearances: Availability permitting. Luton Town F.C have confirmed they will do their best to support St Martins FC events including presentation nights.

However the biggest benefit of all has to be the fact we will now officially be working in partnership with our local professional football team in offering boys the chance to develop in the correct environment.

Luton Town F.C will benefit from this exiting new agreement by firstly being associated with Bedfordshire’s latest Community Chartered Standard Club St Martins F.C and secondly having the opportunity to help and develop the best of talent St Martins F.C. has to offer. We warmly welcome Luton Town F.C on board and look forward to a fantastic partnership.

Footnote: The girls will not be missing out in terms of the above benefits. The only difference is our girls teams compete at the same level of football as Luton Town and are coached to a very high standard with no fewer than five resident F.A. Level 2 Coaches.

Super Saints Offer
50% Family Discount

Last season St Martins FC officialy launched their family discount scheme in offering a 25% discount in subs to all families with a second child playing for the Saints. As a Community Chartered Standard Club the Saints wanted to offer this small gesture. Well this season the Super Saints have gone one better and increased the family discount to a massive 50%. Saints Chairman John Ledwidge stated: "It's a great idea and one I think recognises the fact families do not have a bottomless pit to keep digging into. It's also another way of rewarding loyalty. Perhaps we could start a trend with other local clubs offering something of a similar nature. If this allows one or two more children the opportunity to play football the initiative will have been well worth while" So if you have a second child playing for the Saints this season you will effectively save £48.00 - if you have a third child playing for the Saints you will save another £48.00 and so on.
